In my phone, I keep a folder of short video clips, collected under the name 'Accidents'. They capture a detail of peripheral moments in the everyday.

Over a short film format, I think through and make sense of this collection of moving image and the associations they draw out.

The narrative that unfolds follows the logic of a walk; the sound of my footsteps remain consistent throughout. The way image, text, and sound are arranged mimics how one sees, hears, and feels the surrounding environment on a walk while the mind wanders to different times and places.

Underpinned by the walk, the story this work seeks to tell – or show – is how the world looks as I move through it. Images, thoughts, and memories come and go; they follow or cut into one another, not always reaching closure and not always consistent with each other.
